Celebrating Rotary’s impact across four countries, RI Director 2026–28 Marty Helman is hitting the road. Beginning July 1, 2026, Marty will spend the next 24 months visiting every district in our two zones—from Barrow, Alaska, to Bermuda and cities and towns from coast to coast in Zones 28 and 32.
She will attend service projects, Foundation dinners, club meetings, and special events to highlight the life-changing work our volunteers do every day.

THE IMPACT TOUR HAS LAUNCHED: FROM BARROW TO BERMUDA
Celebrating Rotary’s impact across four countries, RI Director 2026–28 Marty Helman is hitting the road. Beginning July 1, 2026, Marty will spend the next 24 months visiting every district in our two zones—from Barrow, Alaska, to Bermuda and cities and towns from coast to coast in Zones 28 and 32.
She will attend service projects, Foundation dinners, club meetings, and special events to highlight the life-changing work our volunteers do every day.
Kickoff in Canada (July 2026)
Marty’s journey begins in Edmonton, Alberta, on July 1st, where she will celebrate Canada Day with District 5370. Featured events include:
- A Peace Ceremony: A commemorative event at City Hall.
- A Polio Walk: A walk around the historic Fort Edmonton Park.
- A Celebration: An evening of fireworks at Legislative Assembly Park.
Following Edmonton, Marty will head to the Calgary Stampede in District 5360. Plans include a BBQ lunch at the Red Deer Rotary Club’s Access for All Playground, a “Sneak-a-Peek” membership event at the Stampede grounds, the opportunity to support the Rotary Dream Home and a meeting with District 5360’s first Indigenous Rotary Club.
West Coast Tour: British Columbia & Washington State
Later in July, Marty will head west to engage with clubs in British Columbia and Washington:
District 5040: A tour of local Rotary projects in South Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen BC, followed by a community picnic at Memorial Park in Ladner, BC.
District 5050: Attendance at the Port Moody BC Rotary RibFest and the District Installation and Peace Pole installation ceremony in Mt. Vernon, WA.
District 5060: A pre-game reception followed by a Rotary outing at the Wenatchee, WA AppleSox baseball game.

To gain improved perspective on our Rotary movement and all we achieve. Most importantly, I want to share with you the fabulous story of how Rotary makes it possible for all of us to work together to make our communities prosper and to help those neighbors who may be less able to look after themselves than are we. Nothing could be more critical to our continued success, especially during these troubled times."
