Dear Rotarians , Rotaractors and the whole Rotary family of District 7070,

From our GLP family to yours, we truly hope that you are staying healthy and connected during this unbelievable time in history. We are all realizing our place in the global community, which is what Rotary is all about. So now, more than ever, we need Club and District support to continue serving those communities in Guatemala most in need.

As we launch Global Grant #2012567—hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Quetzaltenango (D-4250) and Windsor-Roseland, ON (D-6400)—The Rotary Foundation has announced that their limited World Fund resources will be used to match only District Designated Fund (DDF) contributions. Keep reading for suggestions on how to maximize your impact on this grant, but don’t wait to pledge your support for the textbooks, computers, and teacher training desperately needed in Guatemala!

All pledges must be made by September 15, 2020, through our easy online form.

Hey, Canadians—you can still get that bonus match!

We will again apply for the matching grant from the government of Canada—which has the potential to match your club’s funds up to 5 times! This will be the last year Canada offers this fantastic opportunity so maximize your club’s giving potential while you still can.

Together, we can provide Guatemalan children with the education they need to realize a future beyond poverty. Thank you!

Yours in Rotary Service,
