FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN TO SUPPORT  THE WORK OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION

Rotary’s future depends on what we do today.

History

The concept of a “Million Dollar Dinner” as a Foundation fundraiser originated in Rotary District 5110 (Oregon) around 2004  and has proved to be successful as it spread from district to district, zone to zone and country to country. Our District set a goal in 2020 of 1 million dollars, raising over 1 million Canadian and it is time to do it again. Building on the original idea, our Magic of Millions theme is that raising a million of dollars will create Magic for many people throughout the world.

Goal

District 7070's goal is to raise a minimum of $1 million in new donations for the programs of The Rotary Foundation. These donations can be made to the Endowment Fund, the Annual Fund, PolioPlus or the Rotary Peace Centres. Contributions can be by cash donations over a number of years (Major Donor); bequests through your estate; or insurance policies in the name of the Rotary Foundation.  

District 7070 Magic of Millions Celebration  

To thank all of our donors, we will have a Celebration in April 2025. The evening will bring together the donors who have made or pledged new contributions to The Rotary Foundation during the campaign. You will be recognized for your generosity. Further details for the dinner will be posted when finalized.
