Welcome to the Special Edition Year-End Celebration Edition of the 2024-25 District 7070 Newsletter.
The 2024-25 Awards Presentations and the District Governor Changeover Ceremony were held on June 19, 2025, at the Royal Canadian Legion in Whitby.. Over 80 Rotarians and Rotaractors, and lots of friends of Rotary from all over the District attended the event. Here are just some of the highlights....
In this Newsletter, we are going to feature the Rotary, Rotaract and Interact Awards Presentations , the District Governor Changeover, a year-end message from Past District Governor Virginia O'Reilly and add some photos of Virginia during her year as District Governor, and closing remarks by our new District Governor Niecy Dillon Tyrovolas.
Editor's Note: Congratulations to Past District Governor Virginia for an outstanding year as District Governor. Virginia has encouraged and challenged us to be "The Magic of Rotary" in our clubs and in our communities, locally and globally. A job well done. Congratulations to our 2025-26 District Niecy Dillon Tyrovolas, who will encourage all of us to tell the world how we will "Unite For Good" as we venture out and Do Good In The World.
