Welcome to the Special Edition Year-End Celebration Edition of the 2022-23 District 7070 Newsletter.
The 2022-23 Awards Presentations and the District Governor Changeover Ceremony were held on June 23, 2023, at the Whitby Marina. Over 130 Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors, and lots of friends of Rotary from all over the District attended the event. Here are just some of the highlights....
In this Newsletter, we are going to feature the Rotary, Rotaract and Interact Awards Presentations , the District Governor Changeover, a year-end message from Past District Governor Iosif Ciosa and add some photos of Iosif during his year as District Governor, and closing remarks by our new District Governor John Burns.
Editor's Note: Congratulations to Past District Governor Iosif for an outstanding year as District Governor. He has encouraged and challenged us to "Imagine Rotary" in our clubs and in our communities, locally and globally. A job well done. Congratulations to our 2023-24 District Governor John Burns, who will encourage all of us to tell the world that as Rotarians we "Create Hope In The World" as we venture out and Do Good In The World.
