Greetings Rotary Family,

For the month of October, we celebrate our work in Community and Economic Development. Our members work to strengthen local entrepreneurs and community leaders.  For example, Rotary members from Durango, Colorado, USA, team with the Navajo Nation to bring solar lights to remote, off-the-grid homes on the country’s largest Native American reservation, which you can read all about by CLICKING ON THIS LINK.

This month also finds us celebrating World Polio Day on October 24.  Rotary members around the world gather together to fundraise and promote our number one external priority of eradicating polio. Please enjoy this month’s video including fundraising ideas for World Polio Day.

In addition, during this year’s Zone Summit in Winnipeg, we celebrated our End Polio Now efforts with a walk on Saturday morning!

Yours in Rotary,

Chris Etienne
