Congratulations and thank you to the District 7070 Rotary family, as we virtually walked and made a Community Health Difference in 2020. We raised over $23,000 for the fight against HIV/AIDS and to support Canadian charities that increase the overall health of our communities, including Feed Ontario. We transformed the 2020 annual Rotary District 7070 Poker Walk for HIV/AIDS, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we shared this transformation with you at the 2020 Rotary AIDS & Community Health Walk, July 29, 2020. In Canada, over 63,000 people are already living with AIDS. One in 120 adults in Toronto is HIV positive. These individuals are at greater risk of exposed to new diseases such as COVID-19.
