Dear Rotarians in District 7070,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of LitRAG, Happy Basic Education and Literacy Month! What better time to reach out to you than the month that Rotary supports education and literacy for all children and adults?  During this world-wide pandemic, education has become more important as we share what needs to be done to stay healthy and safe, as we help adults increase their literacy skills to get jobs to support their families, and as we find new ways to help children in school whether it is in person or virtual.......

Like so many other things, LitRAG went quiet for a while as we helped our families, clubs, and districts learn to operate in a new way. We are stronger now and ready to get back to work, sharing the good works that clubs and districts are doing around the world to promote literacy for children and adults.

There is much work to be done and we need your help by renewing your membership to LitRAG. Please visit our website at litrag.org and renew online or print an application and email with your credit card information as indicated.

Your membership will ensure continued receipt of the LitRAG newsletter along with information and flyers on upcoming education and literacy events and webinars. In addition, membership allows you to represent your club or district in applying for a chance to win $400 for your next education and literacy project.

We also would love to hear what your club or district is doing around education and literacy projects. We want to share them in our newsletter and our website, giving other clubs and districts ideas for successful education and literacy projects.

Again, please visit the website at litrag.org and renew your membership. Then enter your club or district project by September 30th so that we may showcase the positive impact your club has made in supporting literacy and education - and potentially receive a $400 award. After that, partner with us to share new projects and ideas, and to help #growrotary by promoting Rotary’s focus area of Basic Education and Literacy.
