Rotarians and Rotaractors in District 7070 are invited to the Foundation Qualification Seminar on Saturday November 16, 2024, at the Oshawa & District Shrine Hall, 1626 Simcoe St N, Oshawa, 8.30 am to 2 pm.

The seminar is an opportunity to learn about our Rotary Foundation, including

  • the structure of the Rotary Foundation

  • how money is raised and where it goes.

  • Global and District grants, what they can be used for and how to apply.

  • case presentations of Global and District grant projects

In addition, there will be an update on the Polio Eradication Program. ......

  • Club members who attend the full program will count for their respective Clubs towards the Rotary Foundation Qualification Rotary years 2024-25 and 2025-26
  • On-line qualification modules will be available March 1. 2025 for the 2025-26 Rotary year as an alternative/complement to this seminar.

 

The seminar is a great networking opportunity to meet members from across the District.

Rotarians and Rotaractors, who attend the full program for the seminar, will count as members required for their Clubs to become qualified for the Grants program in the 2025-26 Rotary year. They will also count towards the qualification for the current Rotary year, should their Club not yet have reached that status.
