What an amazing day for the Northumberland United Way and Rotary District 7070 as the Outlander Dragon Boat team from Northumberland Sunrise Rotary and Rotary Club of Colborne battled the mighty boat from the Rotary Club of Cobourg for bragging rights! ....
Well, we won a battle but lost the war and thus, the debt of the defeated president jumping into Lake Ontario was paid by Colborne Club President Jay Robinson! In a show of good form, Cobourg Club President Roger Tessier and Northumberland United Way CEO Heather Norris also took the plunge! Great day for the community!
