Dear District Governors, District Public Image Chairs in Zone 32, and everyone interested in Rotary Public Image,

Here is the monthly Public Image update for may / June  2025l.

  • We often address questions about proper logo usage. The Brand Center has several pages about logos and graphics. For example, did you know that you should not use the yellow wheel (mark of excellence) by itself, and you should not use a lockup treatment for a committee name or with descriptive text or other logos that aren’t related to a partner, sponsor, event, or time-bound program? Learn more on the Do's and don'ts page
  • It's not just Rotary logos... The Brand Center includes icons for our 7 areas of focus. Click here to find them!
Please read more ....
  • Many clubs and districts continue to have their Facebook pages locked or taken down by Meta. In addition to your completing a form for Rotary International's  follow up, we recommend that your page's About information includes the club or district number and a reference that you were chartered as part of Rotary International.
  • People of Action has not gone away with the new Rotary message of United for Good. United for Good reinforces that we are all People of Action. Continue to promote your districts and clubs as People of Action using resources from the Brand Center
  • What is the Plus in Polio Plus? The “plus” is something else that is provided as a part of the polio eradication campaign. It might be a hand-operated tricycle or access to water. It might be additional medical treatment, bed nets, or soap. Learn more here, and share on your communications channels.
  • The most recent Council on Legislation adopted some policies that affect the Learning Center. Login using your rotary.org credentials.
    • The presidents-elect training seminar has been renamed as the presidents-elect learning seminar.
    • The district training assembly has been renamed as the club leadership learning seminar.
    • Additionally there are new and updated courses, including Develop a Speech.
    • Lastly, an updated Rotary Learning Center app will be launched shortly. Stay tuned for more information!
  • Have a story to share on our Zones 28 & 32 website or Facebook page? Reach out to any of us for follow up!

Question of the month:

Q: Several organizations are working with us on our fundraising event. Can we create a logo with more than one partner?

A: No. Your logo lockup can include only one partner, sponsor, program, or event. Choose your main partner to include in the lockup and list the others separately. If all partners are equal, don’t use a lockup. Instead, list their logos separately from your official logo.

Upcoming events:

It's not too late! Register now to attend the Rotary International Convention in Calgary, Canada, June 21-25, 2025. If you are attending the Rotary International Convention, sign up for Beyond Borders, an event that celebrates our Zones 28 and 32 on June 23. Learn more HERE.

Yours in Rotary,
