The Rotaract Club of Willowdale is a proud ambassador of a recent Reading Glasses Initiative, commenced by Rotarian Christopher Jones of AUT Transit Union Local 113 Toronto. In doing so, our Club has been able to contribute to the collection of gently used, and new reading glasses for marginalized communities in the Philipines. The first shipment of reading glasses was well received in Makati, Philippines, and we plan to continue this project into the summer of 2024.
