LORI MICHELUTTI - ROTARY CLUB OF TORONTO-FOREST HILL
Lori Michelutti, from the Rotary Club of Toronto Forest-Hill, passed away on January 1, 2026. Lori was the beloved wife of Marvin Graf and dear daughter of Leo Michelutti and Matilda (Barazzutti) both predeceased. Loving sister and close friend of Lisa (Julio Mirabelli). Also survived by sisters Louise (Normand Belanger, predeceased 2007) of Calgary, Lynn Marie (Peter Biasucci) of St.Catharines and sister-in-law Sheila Ostroff. Loving aunt of Michelle Belanger (Robert Gossen), Daniel Belanger predeceased 1999, Diane Fabbricino (Landon), Lauren Mirabelli (Jason Chenard) and Julian Mirabelli. Great-aunt of Caden and Kayla Fabbricino, Lucas and Emily Chenard and Benjamin Ostroff. Loving niece of Enzo and Dina Michelutti (both predeceased), Lily Krakovsky (Karol, predeceased) and Greta Barazzutti (Joe, predeceased). She will be missed by many cousins and friends, especially David Krakovsky (Antoinetta). She was a school teacher for over 30 years and loved her time as the secretary of the Rotary Club of Toronto-Forest Hill. Special thanks to Romela Cortez and Zoranna Drumonde, your kindness will not be forgotten. She had a huge heart. Lori’s sudden passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but her legacy will remain firmly woven into the fabric of our club. Lori as a devout Rotarian and active Club Executive Secretary embodied the true spirit of Rotary — service with compassion, leadership with humility, and friendship with sincerity. Through Lori’s dedication, generosity, and steady commitment to Service Above Self, she touched lives far beyond our meetings and projects. Many in our Rotary community are better off because Lori touched us in such a kind, loving, loyal, firm and wise way. Beyond Lori’s steadfast loyalty and compassion we will remember Lori as a trusted colleague, a kind listener, a source of encouragement, and a friend. Lori gave confidential words of advice and wisdom constantly on the better way to see things in the spirit of excellence. Her presence enriched us all. As we mourn the loss of Lori, we also celebrate a life well lived — a life of purpose, service, and love for humanity. May we honour their memory by continuing the work she believed in (Rotary and Muscular Dystrophy) and by serving others with the same grace and dedication she showed every day. SUSAN RAFUSE - ROTARY CLUB OF PORT HOPE
It is with much sorrow that the family announce that Susan Elisabeth Dewhurst-Rafuse passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026 due to a terminal illness. She leaves behind her husband Ted, children Audra and Ryan, and grandsons Shay and Ultan. Ted and Audra were at her side when she passed away at home. A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer so that all family members will be in attendance, details to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of your choice in her memory. She was a active member of the Rotary Club of Port Hope after becoming the first female member in 1989 when Rotary changed the rules to accept women.

Doug requested no funeral, and no obituary. But there are so many Rotarians all over Canada and beyond who knew Doug and loved and respected his love of Rotary. Doug, in his recent years , was a proud member of the Rotary Club of Stirling here in District 7070 in southern Ontario.
Louis Horne, Rotary Zone 28 Membership Coordinator said it so well, "Doug Logan is on my mind. I am so sad that my Rotary mentor, collaborator, inspirer, co-shift disturber, wall to toss ideas at, and dear friend, Doug, left this earth today. Honour his memory by living the Rotary Four Way Test and looking for ways to make things better - and when you have an idea of something to change, just try it! That's what he did. We lost a really great guy today... He died the way he lived - with class, calm and control - and compassion for those who loved him."
