Closing this year’s Rotary District 7070 Rotary Foundation Walk in Campbellford was the cheque presentation to Clubs leading the 2026-27 District Grant projects. The grant cheques varied from $500 ot $5,850, depending on the project and sponsoring Clubs. Projects were both local and international. An additional five District Grant projects will receive their grant cheques at a later date. 13 Clubs submitted 20 District Grant projects by the May 31 deadline. 26 Clubs are sponsoring one or more of these projects, resulting in 39 Clubs in the District are participating in the District Grant program. The total amount of funds set aside for District Grants is close to $75,000. The total amount available for District Grants depends on the amount Rotarians and friends donated to the Annual Fund of the Rotary Foundation three years ago. So,only more donations this year, District 7070 will make more funds available to share three years from now.
