In her September 2025 Newsletter, District 7070 Governor Niecy Dillon Tyrovolas talks about clubs she has visited buzzing with energy with fresh ideas and inspired leadership, as we make meaningful impact in our communities. She is also pleased that so many clubs collaborate on so many wonderful projects. She is also encouraged by the boost in social image presence and it really makes a difference by spreading awareness about Rotary and about our clubs and what we do. She reminds us that September is Basic Education and Literacy Month and encourages us to share our ideas and projects. Be sure to encourage all of you members to register for our Rotary Leadership Institute sessions in September and we hope to see everyone at the Rotary Foundation Walk on September 28. Keep the momentum going everyone as we all Unite for Good..... .. Please Read more. .........
Greetings Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and Earlyactors, !!.
What an exciting & FUN month it has been in District 7070! Everywhere I look, I see our clubs buzzing with energy, fresh ideas, and inspiring leadership. Our Presidents are truly stepping up as Changemakers, guiding their clubs to new opportunities and creating meaningful impact in their communities.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the collaboration I’m seeing—Rotary clubs teaming up with one another, and also building strong partnerships with local organizations. This spirit of working together is what Rotary is all about, and it’s incredible to see how it amplifies the good we do.
I’m also noticing a big boost in social media presence across the district. So many clubs are sharing their events, fundraisers, socials, and projects online—and it’s making a difference! These posts don’t just showcase the magic of Rotary, they also help spread awareness, attract new members, and let our communities know how much we care. Keep those posts coming, and let’s continue to celebrate and promote our successes.
September is especially meaningful for Rotary, because it’s Basic Education and Literacy Month. Education is one of the cornerstones of lasting change, and Rotarians around the world are committed to improving literacy, supporting schools, and opening doors of opportunity for young people. Whether it’s through tutoring programs, scholarships, book drives, or mentoring, every effort counts. Let’s use this month to shine a light on the ways our clubs are helping people gain the skills and knowledge they need to thrive. I encourage you to share your literacy projects with the District so we can celebrate them together!
I am so inspired by the passion and creativity I’m seeing across our clubs. Let’s keep this momentum going, celebrate the power of literacy this month, and continue to show our communities what it means to Unite For Good. Together, we’re walking hand in hand, creating change, and making an incredible difference!
