In her January 2026 Newsletter, District 7070 Governor Niecy Dillon Tyrovolas talks about all of the activities our clubs did in December such as the Breakfast of Champions, the Kids' Safety Village, the concert for Feed the Need , RYLS meetings, Christmas parties galore. She asks us to celebrate and promote Vocational Service projects in January . She wants to meet with our clubs in the second half of the year to hear what’s working well, what challenges you’re facing, and how the District can walk beside you to help your clubs thrive. Niecy says that The next six months are going to be incredible — and busy (just the way I like it!). We have President-Elect Training (PELS) coming up in February, RYLS in April, Youth Service Month and the EPIC Day of Service in May — and so much more! And of course, I can’t wait to jump back into President Meetings, Assistant Governor Meetings, DLT Meetings, Learning Tuesdays, and plenty of Club Visits. Niecy adds, "We’re just getting started! We have six amazing months ahead to WALK TOGETHER TO UNITE FOR GOOD." .. Please Read more. .........
Greetings Rotarians, Rotaractors, Interactors and Earlyactors, !!.
As we step into this brand-new year, I want to wish each of you and your families a very Happy New Year! May 2026 bring you happiness, health, laughter, and an abundance of Rotary moments that fill your hearts and strengthen our communities.
December was such a wonderful month of reflection for me. It reminded me just how special our Rotary family truly is. I had the pleasure of attending the Breakfast with Champions – so inspiring, then I attended the first RYLS Committee Meeting, where the energy and passion for shaping young leaders absolutely inspired me. I also visited the Kids Safety Village for their magical Christmas experience — what a joy to see the excitement in the eyes of the little ones learning and laughing together. Then there was the Concert for Feed the Need, where I danced my way through the afternoon surrounded by friends and fellow Rotarians, all helping to support such an important cause. I shared a night of fun and laughter with the Whitby Sunrise Rotary Club at their Christmas Party, and enjoyed a beautiful evening with the Trenton Club at their Holiday celebration — full of warmth, fellowship, and that true Rotary spirit. To top it all off, Chris and I were thrilled to open our home to the District Leadership Team for a little holiday cheer. The laughter, the stories, the hugs (you know I love my hugs!) — it all reminded me how grateful I am for this incredible team and for all of you who make our District shine so brightly.

As we head into January, we celebrate Vocational Service Month — a time to reflect on how our professions shape the world around us. Vocational Service reminds us that what we do every day — our work, our integrity, our example — matters. It’s about using our professional talents, skills, and ethical practices to make a positive difference in our communities and beyond.
In January, I’ll be back on the road visiting clubs once again — to listen, to encourage, to celebrate, and to support. I’ll be reaching out to Presidents to make those visits happen because I truly want to connect with each of you. I want to hear what’s working well, what challenges you’re facing, and how the District can walk beside you to help your clubs thrive.

We’ve come so far together, and I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve accomplished in the first half of this Rotary year. But guess what? We’re just getting started! We have six amazing months ahead to WALK TOGETHER TO UNITE FOR GOOD.
Let’s make 2026 a year filled with connection, compassion, laughter, and yes — a whole lot of FUN!
Let’s do this, District 7070!
In Rotary,

Niecy Dillon-Tyrovolas
