Rotarians from all over Rotary District 7070 participated in the 4th Annual Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup Event (GLWC) during the week of April 20 - 27, 2024. Thank you - Dan Coombes - Chair GLWC (dancoombes4@gmail.com) for organizing another huge grass roots cleanup all over Ontario.
We hope that everyone in our District had a chance to help . There was "Don't mess With The Don" in Toronto, The Port Hope Community Cleanup event hosted by the Rotary club, the big cleanup in Oshawa at the Second Marsh with by 5 Rotary clubs helping, a big cleanup in Bowmanville, and many cleanups in Whitby by the 2 Rotary Clubs there, and there were many more.
