District 7070 Membership Committee is calling for both Rotaractors and Rotarians in the District to join the District Membership Committee.  Our scope is to foster the growth of Rotary and strong Rotary Clubs in D7070. We are looking for Rotarians who are passionate about membership and growing strong Clubs in D7070. The Membership Committee comprises a Main organizing committee and 5 sub-committees, which are...

  1. Visioning (Club Strategic Direction)

  • Enables Clubs to develop a Vision for a way forward, and translate that into an Action Plan

  1. New Rotary / Rotaract Clubs

  • Develop/nurture new clubs

  • Develop guide for starting a new Club

  1. Membership Leads, from RI Leads & Rotary Alumni lists

  • Work with Assistant Governors (AGs) to connect member prospects with the appropriate Club and generate new members

  1. Grow Rotary / New Member Workshops

  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate Grow Rotary workshops to enable Clubs to discover and develop best practices for Club membership growth  

  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate New Members Rotary information sessions

  1. Rotaract Rotarian Transition (Ad hoc committee)

  • Identify issues and Develop working plan to provide for a smooth transition to Rotaract-Rotarians as of July 1 2022

  1. The main steering committee will be responsible for

  • Monitor progress of sub-committees

  • Encourage Clubs to set/report Membership Goals, Membership Committee/Director

  • Monitor Club membership/growth/attrition – assess problems/successes

  • Conduct & Monitor Exit Surveys among Rotarians who leave their Club
