On a cold damp day , Saturday April 25 at the Second Marsh, on Lake Ontario in Oshawa, Ontario, members and friends of the Rotary Clubs of Oshawa, Oshawa-Parkwood , and Courtice helped the Friends of the Second Marsh clean garbage from the Second Marsh as part of Rotary's 6th Annual Great Lakes Watershed Cleanup, part of Rotary's 7th Area of Focus - Supporting the Environment. Thank you to our Civic leaders MP Rhonda Kirkland, MP Jamil Jivani, MPP Todd McCarthy (Ontario's Minister of the Environment, MPP Jennifer French, and Oshawa Councillors Jim Lee and Tito-Dante Marimpietri helped pick up garbage as well, part of their efforts to support the Environment and the Second Marsh..
