A proud Rotary moment: being part of an amazing team leading 29 dynamic young men and women at the Rotary Youth Leadership Symposium in Ganaraska Forest Centre over the past four days! The program focused on team building/collaboration, DEI, public speaking, outdoor survival skills, GPS navigation, Indigenous Culture/Lacrosse, sewing/building hygiene kits for young women in the Dominican Republic (300 kits were put together) and tonnes of fun and laughs! We also gathered together several hundred pounds of food for Durham Outlook for the Needy!

From District Governor Ron Dick after the May 27 morning event: "Enjoyed a morning at the Ganaraska Forest Centre for Day two of our District 7070 Rotary Youth Leadership Symposium. Indigenous Lacrosse player and coach, Hannah Leaf, shared her story and taught us all some lacrosse skills! Thank you Hannah!".
