The two-day online conference (May 8 & May 9) will teach Rotaractors how to make an impact in our new socially distanced environments.

Do you know a Rotaractor who needs to Re-Energize, Re-Engage, and Re-Connect? ... Then make sure that you share this with them!

This year the Rotaract Clubs of D7070 have been focusing on building connections within the Rotaract Family. When the Rotaract Club of Willowdale challenged the other Rotaract Clubs to donate to the bottle drive, Rotaract Clubs came together in support of the Smiles Foundations. When the Rotaract Clubs of York University and Rotaract Club of UofT Scarborough Campus decided to have Game Nights we were happy to win (and lose) while building a community. We celebrated ALL the December Holidays with the Rotaract Club of Toronto ... and the year isn’t over yet!

Building on that foundation of connection this year’s District Rotaract Conference will look a little different than it has before; and not just because it’s going to be online. We wanted to create an environment where there are lots of possibilities to build those connections while growing and strengthening our Rotary family.

The 2021 District Conference will be two half-days (May 8 & 9 both starting at 10 am), with flexible programming to maximize the fun! A week before the District Conference the attendees will be paired with your conference pod and be given the simple task of getting to know each other.

Saturday morning The Rotaract Club of GTA Connect is excited to introduce you to the problem that we are going to solve this weekend (a problem that we have been hearing about all year) and speakers who will help you get to the solution. If you want to be more actively engaged The Rotaract Club of Toronto-Danforth has activities planned throughout Saturday to help you build those interpersonal connections. And just because the programming ends at 2 pm doesn’t mean that you have to leave! Feel free to grab a virtual table with someone new and learn about each other's experiences with Rotaract.

Sunday we are can’t wait to highlight the people in our own District who have been outstanding this year and show them our appreciation through District Awards and then hear about how you are creatively solving the problems that Rotaract Clubs all over the world are facing with a global pandemic in the background. Again, just because the programming ends doesn’t mean that you need to leave. Bring your favourite mug while The Rotaract Club of Willowdale, The University of Toronto Rotaract, and the Rotaract Club of Toronto are all facilitating our engagement with members of our community until your cup is filled.

We can't wait to see you at the conference!
