“There is nothing intangible about Rotary: It is reality itself. To give is to receive; to lose oneself is to find oneself; to be happy is to serve. These are old truths…for the individual…and the mass, whether application be in the exchange of goods, toil, knowledge, or love.” — The Meaning of Rotary, THE ROTARIAN, November 1921 as written by Crawford C. McCullough, Rotary Club of Fort William, Ontario.
We are in a season of celebrations, times for giving and receiving, and opportunities to get together with friends and family. Whatever we may celebrate as individuals, as Rotarians, we join together in a spirit of service.

Peace is more than just the absence of violence. Peace is ensuring there is justice for all. One of Rotary’s great strengths is our ability to pull together the right people to work toward a common goal and create projects in our local communities........
Rotary is well known world wide for our efforts to support and grow world peace and understanding. In fact Peace and Conflict Resolution is one of our six area's of focus.
What better way to support this goal than to have all Rotary Clubs involved in our very own "Rotary Youth Exchange" program. Our young people are our future. Why not invest in them in a most realistic way?
The Rotary Youth Exchange program is the only program sponsored by RI that permits members of a Rotarian's family to participate - no other Rotary sponsored program allows this to happen, primarily due to the perception of being in conflict of interest or nepotism.
