The Rotary Foundation requires every Rotary and Rotaract Club that wants to apply for a District or Global Grant is qualified.  It's not too late. Please get your club qualified TODAY. It is a yearly process, administered by the Districts.  In D7070, we have an on-line process, consisting of three quizzes connected to three self-study modules.   The modules and quizzes are found on the District’s website, www.rotary7070.org   At least two Club members must pass the three quizzes.  In addition, the Club President (2022-23) and President-Elect (2023-24) must submit a signed MOU – Memorandum of Understanding to the District. If you want to Qualify NOW  (perhaps you missed theNovember 19 Seminar), please Read more to see what you can do to qualify today .....

One of the major changes to the Rotary Foundation’s Grants program for the 2022-23 and the 2023-24 Rotary years is that Rotaract Clubs can apply for grants.  Unfortunately, no Rotaract Clubs have yet had their members take the qualification training.  Somehow, we will address this with a special training activity for Rotaract Clubs.  In the meantime, Rotary Clubs are encouraged to invite Rotaractors to participate in their district and global grant projects

Clubs that have not yet completed  the Rotary Foundation qualification training are encouraged to do so.  While May 31, 2023 is the last date for District Grant applications for 2023-24, Clubs can apply for Global Grants throughout the Rotary year.  In addition, the training is a good way of learning more about the Rotary Foundation.

NOTE: May 31, 2023 is the last date for District Grant applications for 2023-24.

Please, also note the Rotary Foundation requirement that Clubs must be qualified throughout the life of a District or Global Grant project, not just the year they apply for the grant.  Almost all Global Grant projects, but also many District Grant projects, take more than one Rotary year to complete.
