Here is Our Rotary District 7070 Learning Action Plan for 2024-25

Welcome to your Rotary District 7070 Learning in the 2024-25 Rotary year. The District 7070 Learning committee is bringing all learning sessions under one umbrella.

  • The learining sessions (events) on the district website are one colour – red

  • A form to be used by our District Committees when putting together a training/learning session to tell you all about the learning session. This form (see the attached form in the next story in this newsletter) will be sent to Iosif and to Bob Wallace posting on to the District website

  • We have also created  a NEW  section in the Monthly District Newsletter that will show the learning session in the upcoming month

  • District Governor Virginia O'Reilly will also add any learning sessions to his weekly message.

Learning Tuesdays:

  • Zoom

  • Start at 7 pm Toronto Time

  • Sessions 1 Hour

  • 3rd Tuesday of the month

  • Fill out the Learning/Training event Form before

  • 9 sessions 24/25 Rotary Year – (No sessions in the months: July, December & June)

  • Sessions – already allocated however no dates confirmed - 2 session Governance; 2 session- Membership; 1 – session Foundation; 1 – session Public Image

 

Rotary Learning Institute (RLI):

                        We will continue with virtual sessions and in-person sessions

President Elect Learning 2025

We will continue with one in person 1 day training session and 4 virtual on Zoom, programing to be determined.

  4. 19th March, Wednesday 6-8pm ZOOM

District Assembly 2025

 District Assembly will be in-person on 10th May, Saturday Centennial College

 

Global Classroom

We plan to host 4 events at the Rotary Global Classroom in the 2024/2025 Rotary Year; dates to be confirmed with Lon Appleby

  1. 18th of October 2024  - World Polio Day

  2. October/November - DEI Symposium date to be determined

  3. March - International Women Day date to be determined

  4. April – Environmental Symposium

 

Grant Qualification Training Session

 The session is held in-person in Oshawa on 16th of November Saturday
