Hear about how international commitments on climate change are being implemented by local governments and grassroots organizations in ou r part of the world. Find out about what clubs are already doing on enviro nmental issues in our District and opportunities for the future. KEYNOTE SPEAKERS: Elizabeth Bagley\, Ph.D.\, is an interdisciplinary environmental scientist and learning scientist with experience spanning academia\, busi ness\, and the non-profit sector.  As managing director\, Elizabeth guide s Project Drawdown’s overall strategy. Before joining Project Drawdown\, she led higher education-focused climate workforce development at SEI\, d irected sustainability efforts at the California Academy of Sciences\, and designed the science content for video games at LeapFrog.  Elizabeth fre quently speaks about climate solutions and was invited to create two Linke dIn Learning courses focused on sustainability that have engaged tens of t housands of learners from around the world. An experienced environmental e ducator\, Elizabeth worked as a naturalist in Glacier National Park\, taug ht middle and high school science in Louisiana\, created K–12 profession al development programs for teachers\, and designed a science communicatio n course for graduate students. ​ Elizabeth holds joint Ph.D.s in envir onment & resources and educational psychology from the University of Wisco nsin at Madison\, where she studied how video games can encourage systems thinking about complex environmental topics.    Lyn Adamson brings a ric h\, diverse and pragmatic perspective to environmental issues. She is a pe ace and climate advocate\, community organizer and involved in many climat e groups in Toronto including Toronto Climate Action Network (TCAN)\, Citi zens Climate Lobby (CCL)\, ClimateFast\, Seniors for Climate Action Now (S CAN!). She is also co-chair of the Ontario Climate Emergency Campaign and Co-Chair of City of Toronto’s Climate Advisory Group.  The Climate Advi sory Group works with city staff to implement the city's climate action pl an\, TransformTO\, towards meeting its target of 65% reduction in emission s by 2030 and Net Zero by 2040. Lyn is knowledgeable about climate change plans in municipalities beyond Toronto.
